Wow...lots to talk about today!
Our first stop was at the park office to pay for another two nights. While I was paying, I noticed a DOT release on the counter announcing that Hwy 1 is closed indefinitely due to a big rock slide about fifty miles north of here. Glad we didn't take that route, although we would probably have been through the area just prior to the slide. If not it would have meant backtracking and taking the inland route anyway.

Day 10 - Goodbye Aptos
