Oklahoma As we entered Oklahoma, the road reduced to a single broken tarmac road with gravel verges to allow passing. We managed a few miles of it before reaching an intersection with a later alignment. ... We would be traveling to New Jersey via Ohio for a stop off at Meemaw and PawPaw's house, as New Jersey is a long way from Tulsa by car!

After a long evening riding in the car, we stopped in O'Fallon, IL to spend the night. The dogs were not exactly thrilled about hanging out in a hotel room, we're not sure if Ricky even slept, as he kept pacing around. Needless to say, he is not big on change!
