... are pretty massive close up, but it was seriously cool to be so close to one in the flesh.
It was nice to have a family dinner tonight, that didn't involve a buffet, a tonne of people, paying for it or having to buy extra for breakfast. It was then a nice chilled night, without any need to pack or be up seriously early in the morning for a change.

So we left boulder at 8am this morning after we picked up the rental car and packed it full of our stuff. We decided on a rental car for a couple of reasons - one phoebe wasn't too sure that her car would make the journey especially as we have to take the rodeo another 2300 miles boulder to Connecticut via Dallas to see nana patti.
