    ... seventy-two adventurers. Our visits will include Tbilisi, Georgia Samarqand, Uzbekistan Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia Yangon, Myanmar Habarana, Sri Lanka Addis Ababa, Ethiopia Jerusalem, Israel Then a return to London. Now, there are other stops within these countries, but I wanted to save the more difficult names for later. I doubt that I will ever be able to pronounce these names, but I will wow you with their spelling. Why (?), you ask are you going to these places instead of Des Moines ...

    ... We then dropped Lynn off home to ice her back and then Linda and I went to Target to pay a bill. While we were in Target a huge storm front blew in and there was flash flooding, thunder and lightening. Getting from the garage to the back door we were totally drowned!     ... Hahaha. So once my case was checked through I went through security and thankfully the lines weren't too bad! Dear lord there are some seriously impatient people at an airport though... And then they take it out on the people who work there. But hey, I guess there are all sorts of people in airports! I went to the souvenir shops of course and bought a nice little sweater and then went in search of some vegetarian lunch... That was difficult. Decided to just settle for yet ...

Frederick Post took advantage of those falls back in 1871 when he bought some land from the Coeur d'Alene tribe and started a lumber mill, and timber supported the economy for most of the next century.     Panicking as the departure time (10:05 AM, 1/29) closes in on me. Got my frameless Gossamer Gear backpack packed with clothes, books, rain gear (it is rainy season in Machu Picchu), and a pink Jesus statue. Also, a little stuffed dog named Goldie that my niece, Coco, gave me. The torture is that I know I'm going to forget something so I'm roaming the house wondering what that will be...
