    ... I turned around and said we were from Australia.. OMG.. We got the big welcome to the US story and god bless.. They were lovely people from Virginia travelling to here for work..     ... these winds. (While rain is a nuisance on a bike - wind gusts are your arch enemy). Fortunately, I was very near a rest stop and was able to pull off into the rest stop.
