I don't recall how I came across this place when planning the trip but we were both very glad that I had it on my list of roadside stops. One man built and maintains this beautiful and touching oasis. We found it very moving and a good balance to the frivolous things we had been seeing.

When we went out in the yard, I naturally had to explore (and mark) the new territory. So, I was standing there, on all 3 legs, doing my business, when Lucy closed off one of her circle runs and leaped right over me. She said it was a new sport - Hurdle Peeing; and that she was practicing for the next doggie Olympics. Oh, the ...

I think I like OK-lahoma. Dad and I stayed in Leedey, OK with Uncle Hoot (a real Cowboy), and we got our very own bedroom/bathroom suite. Uncle Hoot is now officially my favorite relative...he has a BIG bag of beef jerky dog treats! And, he's a softy - just a couple of hand shakes and a soulful look and, JACKPOT!

I also got to meet all of Dad's Human cousins (Cheri, Cathy, Terry, Erica ...
