    I don't recall how I came across this place when planning the trip but we were both very glad that I had it on my list of roadside stops. One man built and maintains this beautiful and touching oasis. We found it very moving and a good balance to the frivolous things we had been seeing.

    I slept better than I thought I would last night, I would konk out for a while then wake up to get my bearings before sleeping again. We hit a really bad rough section of road and then came the thunderstorm with limited viability.     ... the weather is supposed to be snowy. The cattle are fed every couple of days, and they seem to enjoy their food as much as I do. I'm glad I'm a dog because, I get fed EVERY day.
