      ... centre on the interstate.

At this point, we got out the map and decided our route for the final leg of this road trip. Heading back to the car, however, Andrew turns to me and says "you have my wallet, don't you?"....ummmmm, No.

Today was a good day exploring Vermont. We saw lots of great covered bridges. Designed like this to stop the bridges getting icy and also to preserve their longevity. We stopped at the Bridge of Flowers, saw glacial potholes, iconic white churches and generally some beautiful driving. No festival in Woodstock but enjoying the tranquil town! Next stop New ...

But the views are wonderful. :) By the time we reach New Haven Connecticut it is quite built up although there are ...

... ll see a name you recognise!! We then had to head to Randolph to collect some bowling shoes for Jesse as he is in a bowling tournament on Sunday. Arrived home just after the bicyclists - that's the term they use. Ian and Duff had had a great ride so Ian was feeling very satisfied. Pizza for dinner and then the suitcases called. Managed to pack a bit more efficiently this time but will probably need to send another parcel home from New York.(The ...

Mt Washington is 6288 feet high, so since we were in the vicinity, we decided to do a day's hike up to the top. The mountain has the reputation of having the world's worst weather, totally unpredictable and extreme. Undeterred, we headed off in glorious weather, puffing a bit since we were out of form. As we climbed up through the trees, the weather turned and what had been a beautiful day turned into a tremendous storm, ...
