Two hours pass and my sign eagerly announcing "SOUTH!" fails to procure any rides. All of a sudden a passing car honks at me and the driver points up ahead. I turn and see a ...
Monday 24th July After checking out of our pretty grim airport travel lodge and our sophisticated meal of McDonald's, we checked into our hotel called the San Remo near Nob Hill. It was a lovely traditional San Francisco hotel attached to a beautiful looking italian restaurant (unfortunately out of our price range) with small but very clean and pretty rooms with shared bathrooms. First stop breakfast, followed by an exploration of San Francisco for the rest of the day, passing ...
