Denny passed away last year and that makes two recently departed friends we’ve resolved to visit for years and never got there until it was too late. ... convey the tune of his favorite new song to me, of which I was oblivious. Whatever he was humming I couldn't, in all my musical knowledge, contrive into a familiar tune. Enter me in Hong Kong, November 2010. Finally on MTV (which in China, thankfully, still shows music videos) I heard a tune which I recognized. Rufio bounded into the room, "this is the song!". I danced along; "Written in the Stars" had all the makings of a new hit. It ...
