Baymont Inn & Suites Orlando - Universal Studios

The idea was to go camping this weekend in Orlando. My cousin Dougie's two boys are in the cub scouts and had a camping outing scheduled at Fort Wilderness (http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/resor ts/campsites-at-fort-wilderness-resort/ ). Dougie invited me to join them with Rebecca and Christopher, which I decided would be a great idea considering that Rebecca and Christopher had never been camping yet ...

We all have grown up fantasies and Fairy tales and always wondered how it would be to be in a fairy land or the Magic World. My dreams seemed to have come true , only a bit late in life! Well i am walking into the third decade in my life but still excited about going to the Disney World Orlando.

Our trip starts with a jinx , first with the shuttle breaking down on the way to the airport and second with our flight ...

Today we went for a drive and visited a walmart store - we found some good bargains on t-shirts etc. One interesting thing is that Ipods and other electronics now cost about the same as in the UK. bought a card reader for $13 only to find where I'd hidden mine when we got back to the hotel. so I now have two....

Today started very misty and cloudy - so we went back to universal studios after partaking of a hearty breakfast at the ponderosa diner. we had a full american breakfast plus fruit. its so filling that we have only nibbled since and dont think that we need to eat a 'proper meal' for the rest of the day.

Red paper bag "luminaires" lit the path to Japan Party! Passing under strung globous rice paper lanterns, guests were greeted by an inviting banner and a small info card about the Japanese tradition of wearing house slippers.

Entering the park, we again had to compare our fingerprints to our entry tickets…except Jakey…because you don’t become an Imperial slave until the ripe old age of 3…so has the Mouse overlord decreed.

Mistakenly Cheri & I scanned the wrong tickets yesterday so now we have to switch tickets all the time…suckers…we finally fooled ...
