I haven't seen mom for a couple of years so it was too bad that we had such a limited time to visit. We did stay for about an hour. Most of that time I worked on her computer (yes, my mother is 88 and does email!) while she and Jeff chatted.

We stopped by the Allman Brothers museum at Macon (rhymes with bacon) yesterday, which is 'the big house' where the band all lived at the height of their creative period. Definitely one for the obsessive fan, but still ok just to wander around aimlessly, despite a lack of any meaningful labelling. Hey, that's rock and roll, dude.
... except for huge mounds that once supported various structures. What has been identified are Greater and Lesser Temple Mounds, Funeral Mounds and other mounds that remain a mystery to this date. We were able to hike the park on beautiful trails and walked about 5 miles through some ancient history. ... This time we chose the Quality Inn on the by-pass. It was late when we got in as the Atlanta traffic was chock a block. Who knows why?
This Quality Inn was not as nice as the one in Ohio but still satisfactory. We drove to our favourite dinner spot - Margueritas.
Today was approximately 600 miles and the trailer is working well. We have both remarked that sometimes we almost forget that it is there - presumably good news!
