... was not hindered by age. When I was here last time I was the oldest child and there is only so much history that children can take before they become grumpy. At this point in my life we were able to walk miles and miles and remain interested in our surroundings much longer.

Seeing Janet try to figure out how to strap ice to her bike and herself to cool down was the highlight of the trip today, besides the twisties (curved rides that are great fun to ride on a motorcycle).
On Monday we headed out from Cass, WV, and headed west through the Monongahela Mountains and the Monongahela National Forest. What a beautiful place. We chose to take back roads through the area, so the roads were really winding and rolling, but the scenery was remarkable.
