... me this morning. Taking in every second knowing it was my last, so cherishing all our memories we have made this weekend in St Louis. Zoey popped across with Jasper to have his morning gurgle and input to today's proceedings too. A little hectic with all the packing up and getting ready to leave, with ma & pa waiting for a little family facetime to catch us all together for one last time, before we went our separate ways. We left Hazelwood, on Route 66 and ...

Rain came right after we got settled in our room. Lucky for us We seemed calmer tonight. We picked up some dinner, watched some TV. Before we start up our first campfire of the trip, we make nice with our neighbours, ...

Heading to Joplin. Missouri today.....right on the border of Kansas.....our fifth state. In Carthage, Missouri we visited a beautiful historic courthouse with an antique cage elevator that still works. We "shot" the Sheriff and his two deputies.......so we got out of Missouri in a hurry. Route ...

We left Springfield and on the way, stopped and took a photo of Abe Lincoln's house. We also took shots of Shea's garage which is a bit famous for the metal plaques and old petrol pumps outside - unfortunately, it was closed at the time.

We had a bit of bother actually trying to find Route 66 and ended up back at our starting point, past Lincoln's house. You need to keep your eyes open at the sides of the roads, overhead passes and in front, so we had ...
