We left Springfield and on the way, stopped and took a photo of Abe Lincoln's house. We also took shots of Shea's garage which is a bit famous for the metal plaques and old petrol pumps outside - unfortunately, it was closed at the time.

The first day of the ride... We all got up super early (04:30) as we wanted to leave the hotel by 05:15 for the 15 minute ride to Wayne AL Post, the start point.
