Drove to Story City, Iowa today. The weather was not good today, in fact we drove through pour down rain for about 1 1/2 hrs as we passed through Kansas City and northward. The campground was wet from all the rain and not as pretty as it was the last time we stayed here 4 years ago. Smokey hasn't been sleeping well and has been crying during the night. Today was nothing special. Except for the fact that when we arrived, it was pouring rain. Since I woke up early, I traversed through the rain in order to get to catering to eat some much needed breakfast. Upon finishing that, I headed back through the rain to the bus that was a ways away. not thirty minutes later, the bus moved to a spot less than twenty feet from the door, so I really didn't have to get we, had I known the bus was going to move.
