... and unique to that farm and family. Some of the farms here are over 160 years old.
Crossing into Illionois, the hay fields became corn fields for as far as you could see. I arrived in Dixon, Il home of Ronald Reagan and a wealth of history regarding him and Abe Lincoln. ... Hawaii. It is large and has a large stocked man made fishing pond. It also has nasty bathrooms and mosquitos. We are parked under a large non-tropical tree next to both bathrooms and mosquito pond. Hardly tropical heaven but will have to do. No neighbors yet but it is the start of the last long weekend of the summer so we are sure we will be seeing more folks roll in tomorrow.

We set up in a light sprinkling of rain and then had dinner of franks ...

... enjoying how much the little kids were into it, but J.P. got some chuckles out of them all the same. The daycare split the kids up into the really young and the slightly older, but still pretty young, so John did two shows there to finish off the day. He had a kid who was too nervous to help him at the beginning of the show, but at the end, J.P. asked the same kid if he was ready to help him now and the kid beamed as he walked up. A nice victory ...
