We left Ballston Spa on Monday the 8th with a great deal of sadness. After being there for a month we all had a comfortable routine that was difficult to give up. We miss Avery knocking on the door with"it's me Avery", Christopher and his wonderful sense of humor looking very sharp in his football uniform and Emma always stylish rushing off to diving practice. We stopped in VA at the Endless Caverns campground and took the tour of ...

Got off Monday after 12...heading for Columbus, OH 1003 miles away....and had to be there by Wednesday.

Drove just under 300 miles to Perry, GA. Found a stopover at Fair Harbor RV Park just off I75. Neat park all treed, cute little lake in the middle of it, great electric and cable. Just what we needed after getting in around 6 that evening.

We leave for the airport at 6 am. Then I get to run last minute errands, finish my packing, help pack hubby who hasn't started yet (work will do that to ya). And just two more days of Pimslurs Swedish.

This is our one year anniversary where we are being sealed in the LDS Temple ...

Arrived yesterday in the pouring rain. Had spent the day doing general store with grist mill in Helen. Did a great hike to Ruby Falls. Went on to Clayton. Visited the Main St Gallery but the right Folk Art wasn't there - some cute birds and a gourd turkey - but not quite right. Had a dynamite lunch in a new restaurant called Fortify and then headed south. Drove through the pour in rain and arrived at the KOA. Had "lovely" take-out from Wendy's and turned in early. Had ...

Are there things to see in Perry, Georgia

We have waited for several days for the rain to stop. We decided there might be a constant drip from the sky the entire time we are here—so we need to get out despite the weather. As a side note: when we walk from our 5th wheel to the jeep, it sounds like we are walking on a giant wet sponge. We decided to go into Perry, Georgia.
