    ... at the crossings and we were near one so that was an
    added bonus at 4am (and several other times in the night). The nice
    thing was the temperature has begun to drop so it wasn't unbearable
    sleeping without air conditioning on. Basically at the moment we are
    just adding miles to the clock and heading North West with the

    ... reports of flooding in the area since we were heading in that direction. We saw a lot of flooded fields and overflowing rivers, but had only one section of the trip where we actually drove through some water flowing over the roads. We realized that the flood must have just happened as the road crews were just putting up signs and assessing the roads as we were passing.
