... out again. The novelty photos were mandatory for security purposes, great! Make this one a super cheesy one so if we pinch something from NASA our mugshot will look hilarious plastered on tv! ... to drunk people spilling out onto bourbon street. We finally got parked and shown to our room in the royal sonesta. It's a great hotel with a lovely room. So today we woke up and got to roll over because there is no driving to do! We headed out into the heart of the French quarter booked a cookery class for tomorrow , a walking tour for tonight, ate gumbo , drank beer and listened to loads of jazz. Love it ...

... were given a fried oreo and thought it was delicious too - groan from mother...there was fried pecan pie, fried onion rings, fried zucchini, french fries, fried marshmellows, funnel pies (looks like waffles topped with icing sugar) - the list goes on and most of which had absolutely no appeal!
