... My favorite national park was carlsbad cavrens. Water still drips today from rain that fell over 1 million years ago. I had fun and learned alot about all the places we have been. I met alot of nice people. We drove over 2300 miles and Papaw did most of that.

... path of travel for me since 1974 when I first went from Newport News, VA to Minneapolis, MN for schooling. In those days I-70 was very heavy with truck traffic but the worst part was this interstate was an atrocious ride. We stopped in the college town of Frostburg (where I posted the last blog from a little cafe that we stopped at for coffee and stayed for lunch.) At one point in WV we decided to shun-pike, but the state route we started up was SO windy and narrow (and we would have been on it for 30 miles) that we gave up and backtracked to the highway. The girls and I get a little bored backstage...alot...and sometimes we just act stupid. We decided to try to come up with the best outfit we can create using a yellow belt and whatever else we can find from our own costume peices. What do you think? Who won?

But John Glenn did....no offense but that name doesn't exactly sound prestigious. Muskingum College is located in New Concord, OH, which is Michael's next stop. They are hauling an empty trailer right now. Interestingly enough, they went through West Manchester on the way (we live in North Manchester).

Our store today was right next to a Coldstone Creamery so after work we took the boys over there for a special treat. They loved it so much! They thought it was so cool to watch their icecream be mixed right in front of them. The icecream was delicious too!
