It's a bit hit and miss with this place it seems. The room was big but the carpets were very old. Had a decent night sleep.

    Argentina here we come

A travel blog entry by debhooy on Oct 23, 2014

Getting to Argentina is quite the journey for us. We had to leave La Crosse yesterday to drive to Minneapolis. This morning we left Minneapolis at 9:50, we flew to Chicago, then to Miami, and then on to Buenos Aires. We are supposed to arrive there at 7:30 tomorrow morning! It is going to be a very long ...

We then headed over to great river bluffs to start our first camping
experience of the trip. As we drove into the area we were in awe. We
were expecting a little camp group on the Mississippi River but this
place was something else. The panoramic views from the lookout points
were amazing and the campground was extremely remote. We were some of
the only people there but it was so nice. All you could hear were the
    sounds of nature around ...

The journey home is long! From St. John's we flew to Halifax, Nova Scotia. From there we flew to Toronto, and then to Minneapolis. We were picked up by Andrew who brought us to our car. Stopped for a bite to eat before making the 3 hour journey home. Feels good to be home, but now I have to face the mountain of laundry and we both have a ton of mail to go through. AHHH, but it is good to be ...

... I was not expecting were being had already. Its amazing how quickly time flies and how much changes so fast for young people. I am glad I can be a part of those girls lives, even if from a distance 99% of the time, but they know who I am and one day I hope they feel comfortable enough to reach out to me if they need someone to listen or take advice from.

From West Bend, I ventured to Madison to visit with old coworkers and ...

    On the Road to Wisconsin

What a beautiful drive through the southern parts of South Dakota, Minnesota, and into Wisconsin! Rolling hills of yellow wild flowers in South Dakota. European-style farmhouses and those giant wind turbines everywhere along I-90 through Minnesota. And the giant bluffs along the flood-swollen Mississippi River as we entered Wisconsin ...
