... worth the investment! Felt snug as a bug with 4 layers on ...tshirt, heated jacket, bike jacket and rain jacket! We are staying at a super 8 motel again ..this time we have a fridge! Alister is trying to dry out his boots on the heater..getting pretty hot at the moment. Have to look soon where we can get dinner. We are near the Mississippi River ..it is huge. I'm all packed and ready to hit the road. For the next few weeks I'll be living out of the two bags and in the tent you can see in the photo below. It's a bit hit and miss with this place it seems. The room was big but the carpets were very old. Had a decent night sleep.
