Our first night of real camping. We stayed on Goose island camp ground, which was next to the Missippi river. There had been a lot of recent rain so the river was up much higher than normal. Many camp sites were flooded out. It did rain while we were there but we did not let that dampen our fun.
So this is turning into the theme of our trip. We got 3-4" of rain this morning and now have flash flooding in Wisconsin. It seems to be following us. As we get ready to take off and go home we are hoping to avoid our water fiasco yesterday. I am worried as I think I just saw some guy who looked like Noah walking by collecting ...

It's a bit hit and miss with this place it seems. The room was big but the carpets were very old. Had a decent night sleep.
