        We floated the west branch of the Bitterroot River on Friday . Sally sat upfront in the guide raft with a black flat coat retriever that looked exactly like Wrigley ( Adams family dog ). We dry fly fished for west slope cutthroat trout and caught a bunch but nothing over 9 inches . ...

        ... along with the added bonus of sleeping in a real bed and doing a few loads of laundry. Tomorrow we will take Sydney into Chicago and go see Uncle Mort who turned 98 last month.

        We are enjoying our family time and are really looking forward to the time in Mississauga and Toronto for Scott and Nhi's wedding. Love and Hugs to everyone.

        ... a new dinosaur exhibit, and the nature photography exhibit was also under repair.  They did have the rocks and minerals section open though...yay...  Between this experience and the "older-than-me" displays at the Air & Space Museum, I think Smithsonian REALLY needs to step their game up! Luckily, after a few bad experiences, my friends came to the rescue and took me out for the evening.  ...

        ... back at the hostel, I had perhaps the favourite evening of my trip so far. We went to a Blues bar which was literally five minutes from the hostel, and had consistently won awards for it's live music since its opening several decades ago.         ... parking areas. The boxes hold electrical plugs and apparently, you can stay overnight here and plug into their electricity for very low rates. Good to know!
