Of course, I ended up flying back to the States. I didn't have enough energy to do anything else.

On November 11, 2014, we will be leaving Holland, MI and going to Bluefields, Nicaragua to stay for 7 weeks with our friends, RCA missionaries Adrian and Bernardeth Kelly-Bobb. Adrian is a pastor and Bernardeth is a medical doctor. We will be helping in their daily feeding program for 120 children that live in the slums of Bluefields. We will also be working at 2 group homes; 1 for adolescent boys and another for adolescent ...

P.S. Currently, it is 81 degrees in Florence. I think I am going to need a tub of 100 spf sunscreen! Lord knows how I burn! ;)
We saw Lake Michigan and walked around some hilly sand dunes to get to the water. Gotta say a shoutout to the Prindles for having us stay at their home and taking us around the area. We loved the ribs! cornhole! burgers! etc... The trek via Ohio, Indiana, to Michigan wasn't too exciting. It was a lot of cornfields... And some more cornfields... From Michigan, we woke up early early in the am ...
Whether train or plane they were all late! Oh well, we were not on a tight schedule so no problem:) Starting out in Grand Rapids, we taxied the plane out to the waiting area to take off and the pilot came on and said, "You can turn your cell phones ON as we are in a holding pattern due to weather".
