What's life without a little risk? Or, I guess in this case, a lot of risk! I leave for Egypt in three days where I will be joining ISIS never to return to the States ever again! KIDDING DAD!! Of all my trips, this is definitely one where I will need to take the most care, and I guarantee you that I will.

Currently, there is a lot of unrest within Egypt and a "high ...

The temperature difference when we got home was definitely a shocker, St. Louis wasn't any warmer than it normally is at the end of June but when you spend a week up north, even upper 80s is a shocker.

Sad to leave vacation behind, but happy to be home sweet home and happy to sleep in my own bed! Til next time Michigan, you've been ...

Later on we packed for Beaver Island where we would be heading ...

We saw Lake Michigan and walked around some hilly sand dunes to get to the water. Gotta say a shoutout to the Prindles for having us stay at their home and taking us around the area. We loved the ribs! cornhole! burgers! etc... The trek via Ohio, Indiana, to Michigan wasn't too exciting. It was a lot of cornfields... And some more cornfields... From Michigan, we woke up early early in the am ...

Whether train or plane they were all late! Oh well, we were not on a tight schedule so no problem:) Starting out in Grand Rapids, we taxied the plane out to the waiting area to take off and the pilot came on and said, "You can turn your cell phones ON as we are in a holding pattern due to weather". Click, click, click, everywhere you heard people calling out. After about 30 minutes we did take off and landed late in Detroit to find out our next ...
