... the magnificent Opryland Hotel decorated for Christmas. There was an added bonus of an ice sculpture exhibition, this year Frosty the Snowman, carved by a team of Chinese folks who start in July – fantastic. This is my favourite Hotel, ever, anywhere I’ve ever been – a must see in my opinion. Red Bay is a one-off and it was the next stop. ... and got a few presents, mostly for Dad. I also brought Zach a red fly swat guitar as it was light and easy to carry so we could take it with us if he wanted to play guitar it turned out to be great purchase.
We then went to lunch at one of the bar/restaurants on ‘Music Row’ a famous street in Nashville which is now pretty touristy but we liked it anyway. Every place in Nashville has live music and the artists all play for tips only. Zach of course ...
