... it, in part because if you look very closely on the FAA's Sectional chart, "Field of Dreams" is actually marked!We orbited the field once, dashed into Dubuque to pick up a rental car, then headed right back to the ball field.

I had brought Alex's and my mitts for just this moment. As a father, it was so satisfying to be able to stand on the actual Field of Dreams and have my son ask me "Dad, ya wanna have a catch?".

... look around downtown. It's amazing the things you can learn, even after 16 years of living somewhere. We never knew that it was a Holy Week tradition to go to seven "monuments" (Catholic Churches) and recite prayers. In Bogota, because most people have the day off on Good Friday, that is when they do this. We found ourselves in crowds of tens of thousands of people walking from church to church to read certain prayers at each one!

April 23 (Day 7) -- We are ending our day in a parking lot kitty corner from the entrance to the Diamond Jo Casino in Dubuque, Iowa. There are a couple big rigs in here with us right now but not sure how long they will stay... it will do for the night. I had to wait for my carry on to come up so that I could go find my big suitcase. There wasn't enough room so our carry ons had to go under the plane. I grabbed mine and half ran to go to the baggage claim. When I came down the escalator, I saw mom, dad, Kyle, and the puppies.
