... a ranch like dressing and occasionally feta cheese. They were easy to eat on the go and inexpensive. Though I didn't really have a favorite doner kebab place during the day, Leker Eck was the nighttime favorite of our group. Cafe Early was a favorite spot of mine when it came to pasta and sandwiches. Like many German cafes, Early served a wonderful auflauf. Auflauf is a baked German pasta that is typically is filled with cheese, broccoli and ...

... town. We had to have lunch there amidst all that awesomeness! We ate at a
place called The Grumpy Troll, shopped at a Norwegian imports store (of
course we bought a troll), took pictures with some of our new friends,
said our sad goodbyes to cousin Mavis and had to dash to the airport.

It was a great trip and we're sad to go, we saw so many amazing
things. Although getting to see our kitties and sleep ...

    Madison - 7th Day

Today the three of us did some touristy sightseeing. We started at Cave of
the Mounds, a limestone cave full of cool formations that started
    forming 488 million years ago.

Next we visited Little Norway, a Norwegian farm started in the
1850's. It was then bought in the 1930's and kept as a museum to
preserve the Norwegian way of life. The biggest and most amazing
    building is ...

The last morning we woke up and got on the road by 7:40. We stopped in Minnesota for gas, but we did not stop until we got to Waunakee. In all, that was about a 7-hour drive! We drove 1,626 miles on this trip and we consumed about 218 gallons of gas!

I never told all of you that my dad did not shave the entire week, and now he is growing a ...

Today we finally got the RV for the road trip. It's huge! 31 feet of pure awesome! There's a plasma TV, a diner booth, and so much more. We packed the camper and I can't wait to go to sleep because I'm so tired!
My dad is going to get us up early in the morning tomorrow, and Mom is not happy.
Whatever goes down in the morning, I'm anxious to get on the road! Tomorrow I'll tell you all about the Corn Palace in Mitchell! See you then!
