I got up with the sunrise at the lake. It had been a couple days since I cleaned my dromedary so I emptied the water and refilled at the spigot. A lady came up and asked if I was going to be drinking it. She informed me that there was a sign somewhere that says not to drink the water because it hasn't been properly tested. ... And another thing. No internet. My iPad needs it. So the ride. Went looking for breakfast, everyone sleeps late here. I was in Deadwood before 0700 and they weren't open. The slot machines were. Then I rode up to Mt. Rushmore and took some pictures and got my pin. There are some pretty hills here. Then I had to go to see Chief Crazy Horse. It was worth the trip. That is going to be something in a couple ...

It has to start with a dawn departure. Up before the crack of dawn. Bike prepped the night before, gassed and ready. Why do the tires always need air? It was a nice day to ride. Cool again in the morning, 58 degrees in the lower bottoms. Some fog. But have packed well so far. Put the lining in the jacket until the temp gets to 80, and it's not too bad. Yes, the heated seat and grips were on again. Hey, 60 degrees and off feels ...
