... the HOV there was no drama, and I was out of Atlanta in 45 minutes. Key West is about 1500 km south of Atlanta so the original plan was to do it in 2 days, however leaving a little early allowed me to put in about 330 kms and reduce my daily mileage requirements. Tomorrow I will put in a full day and try to get south of Tampa, leaving an easy day for arrival into Key West on Saturday.
... and I had an incredible pasta dish. I tricked myself all week into thinking I was eating healthy and then just threw caution to the wind! I also had a ton of bread and quite a bit of good wine. We soon discovered that the never go over 3 pigs per acre and the pigs live in the woods roaming free. They almost seemed like pets to the owner but we were not so attached that we refused a bacon sandwich to wake us up.
