Driving in the car is more like an armchair ride, rolling along the highway in old luxury and style. We refuelled at some point, and the total cost was $27 – it’s only the second fill-up since Tom bought the car.

        What I learned today is:

After the market and driving through the area, I headed for St. Charles, a historic town on the Missouri River. Navigating the freeway system to head northwest was a challenge, even for my GPS as a couple of exits had been renamed and construction in several locations. So many interstates come together in Saint Louis to cross the Mississippi and Missouri... and I feel like I traveled them all today.
