    Spent last night in Eucha, Oklahoma with Linda and Earl. Linda and I were stationed on Okinawa together. It was great to catch up.

    ... impressive, actually. These farms are huge operations and you can't help but wonder if they're privately owned or owned by some foreign consortium or some such. We arrived at the Hitchcock Nature Center at 12:00 and learned how the trees were taking over what was natural grassland before man did it in.
