Left South Bend around 1pm after doing a load of washing at Cheryl's. Very kind of her. We had been round a bonfire last night so some clothes smelt of smoke of course. We had a lovely lovely time at theirs. Mainly relaxing and chatting and drinking and eating. We were made very welcome and would defo come again as they asked f we would. After the beach we stopped for some ice cream at the camp store, and since we just couldn't get enough of this wonderful place, we went for a hike along the skyline trail, which was up these long wooden stairs and led to a long boardwalk along the edge of the dunes. Great views from up there, too. ...

... nature trails and along the coast. The weather was perfect - sunny, no humidity, crisp breeze...fresh Michigan air! It was great to get some exercise after so much sitting in the car the last few days. We stopped for a slice of pizza for lunch before heading back on the ferry to the RV. Next we had a 4 1/2 hr drive to our next resting spot - Ludington State Park over on the western side of ...
