An early start to the day to make the 10.50am flight to Denver. Its not busy this morning so no delays getting to the gate. I had a dispute with Alamo, the rental car company when i dropped the car off. i had booked the car for 10 days, and they tried to charge me for 11. Lucky for me the lady that checked me in loved my accent and was only to happy to refund the overcharge.
The flight to Denver was very bumpy for the last 30 minutes due to a huge storm heading across the state.

Had a mixed day at Loveland. Lindsay and I drove to Loveland early and got on the slopes by 10:30 or so. Kirk, Chris and Vienne didn't get there until noon.

    • Weather was great
    • Ski conditions were great
    • Lindsay really elevated her confidence with skiing
    • We skied all the blues runs
Unfortunately we didn't get to ski with Kirk, Chris and Vienne as they ended up ...

Nice condo (#1205) at the Hyatt/Wyndham Main Street Station - kitchen, living room, etc. (no washer/dryer, but has one down the hall). The usual woodsy, moose, outdoorsy motif. Pretty good location to the slopes, just a little walk. Very close Main Street shops and restaurants. I ...

... I will withhold from going into a long-winded praise of organizations such as Summer Search that sponsor underprivileged children on an outward bound-esq trip and mentor them). Point being, everyone can always use a gentle reminder about respecting other cultures and in turn assisting in the global dialogue as we continued to become a "flat" world. In the words of the Dalai Lama, "observe different expressions of kindness and compassion." I hear ya, mah man.      ...

... aware of my own optimism.
Icecave picked me up from town on the Sunday evening. He had shaved his beard and I didn't even recognize him until he waved over at me. It was great to see him again. We packed a few days worth of food then headed out to the hotsprings which looked as if they had been over-run by hippies at some stage. There were dream-catchers, candles and incense comes all over the place. I loved it. The springs ran into a big river which carved through a steep ...
