    ... tedious but apparently it was the go to text in engineering schools for many years. You can read about the bridge and see some drawings of the creative design here. The bridge which is currently at the site was restored (looks to me like all the materials are new, so possibly "rebuilt" is a better description) in 1994, and would be more picturesque if people who think that their name must be on everything had not been defacing it ...

    ... family was near by. Everything about the East Coast and the mountains that do't raise about 6,700 feet felt cozy, the wildlife was tame to me.
