      ... a safer route to Little Falls and my hotel. I got here and got a huge surprise. My hotel room cost my $36.16!!! That is so crazy cheap! And it is not like it is a dirty hotel or anything. Just a chain Super 8. Nice and clean. I was so excited. The man at the desk sent me to Royal Cafe for dinner. He assured me it was a mom and pop operation. It was very good. I had cheese curds for the first time. Where have cheese curds been all my life! They were amazing. ...

      Around 4pm i decided the storm was almost over and took a walk downtown. Vendors from the annual Craft Sale were loading up their vehicles after being washed out today. Downtown was like most small towns but had some variety and not just Pawn and Liquor shops. Took a few pics nothing exciting but good to get out.

      Weather report: Cloudy at times, Start temp 24C, end Temp 30C (nice riding weather)
      Well the first thing I learned was that the 'detailed' map i have of the Great River Road is not very detailed. It only shows major roads but not the roads that connect them together.       ... from a farmer's yard, we stopped. We found some fresh steelhead at Costco, (of course, it was enough for several meals.) and bought it for dinner. John cooked it on our little grill and the whole meal was delicious. After dinner, we walked down to Edna Lake at the Nisswa Resort to watch the sunset.
