What a miserable place!
It's hot as hell, the water in the pool looks like someone poured milk into it, and there is nothing to do in the area.
This is our own fault. We completely spaced about the holiday weekend and this was the ONLY place we could find available anywhere near where we want to go next.

Our hosts, Tom and Pat, are amazing folk and hosts. They like to sleep outside, and the climate is perfect for it, so their bed is outside on a deck overlooking the lake. ... Just before 2:00 we stopped in Savannah, Georgia for lunch at Cracker Barrel. I was disappointed that Miss Paula Deen wasn't there to greet me, as I have always been one of her biggest fans.
