... we decided to skip my time dining and tried Seafood Shack. I had been avoiding it because reviews said that it’s all fried food and not that good. A lot of their menu is fried food, but not all of it. The prices are pretty good. We got a bowl of clam chowder in a bread bowl for $2.95. It was watery but hearty and pretty good. Lunch was again a feast fit for a king or a tourist at an all inclusive hotel. We knew that all the food was purely for our benefit and we appreciated it. But way way to much as we do not eat lots generally. We had curry, pumpkin rice, steam fish, tomatoes and salad. Mr Carl kept goading me on to eat more but I had to tell him I was truly stuffed and did not eat lots at the best of times. K, yep you guessed it was eating for England. ... touch to the cruise that we always remember. During dinner, our cruise director introduced the remarkable wait staff that had made our evening dining experiences top notch each night. From the waiters and assistant waiters, to the sommeliers and maitre ‘ds, the staff was exceptional. Guests throughout the dining room gave the staff a rousing applause and waived our napkins in celebration of their professionalism and kindness.
