Bay View Ko Phi Phi Don

Unsere Reise von Malaysien fuehrte uns durch die stets etwas unruhigen suedlichen Provinzen von Thailand. Dies zeigt sich auch an der starken Polizei und Militaerpraesenz an der Autobahn.
Leider war das Wetter in Thailand nicht so schoen wie in Malaysien und bereits auf der Faehre auf die Insel wehte uns starker Wind entgegen und es regnete. Abgesehen davon hat es uns nicht so toll gefallen dass die Region um den bekannten Doppelstrand komplett verbaut war und ...

We ended up getting to Viewpoint two and it was really gorgeous. Really was. The thing that I was even more ecstatic about, was that I did it.

Now if you know me, at home, my regular walking routine is about 30 steps from my front door to my car. And then maybe another 30 more from my car to my desk at work.

So after trying
really hard for the last couple of days to get a dive out on the
local wreck site we were told it just wasn't going to happen .
Apparently they need a certain number of people to justify sending
the boat out because the wreck is one and a half hours out to sea. So
we opted to just do two fun dives out on the local reefs. It was
amazing. The water was 31 degrees (good cause as you all know i hate

Next stop was Maya Beach this is where they filmed "The Beach" it's on Ko Phi Phi Lee the smaller sister island to Phi Phi Don, it is a beautiful beach just like in the film except now it's not quite so deserted. We ate lunch there and took a walk through the small area of jungle which was nice and cooling. ... ago, and then Thursday we went rock climbing in the morning on limestone cliffs. I hadn't done it in about 10 years, but it was a blast, and I actually faired pretty well. ... av teltet. Først la jeg meg under åpen himmel i skogkanten mellom teltet og stranda, men der kom det en forbaska plagsom mygg! Så jeg flykta til stranda. Men det tok ikke lang tid føre 5-6 krabber kom vinglende mot teppe mitt med kloa framme. Forbannet takket jeg for meg og endte opp i det teltet jeg tidligere hadde sverget å aldri komme tilbake til...
