It started raining as soon as I left the mayor's office. I kind of just kept my head down and rode all day. My map doesn't show many camping options in between Iroquois and Fletcher, so I'm in for the long haul. I was getting close to the camp spot when I saw spray paint writing on the asphalt. We finally pulled away from Highlands around 10:45 am. The weather was sunny in spite of the forecast. We drove to I-40 to Knoxville picked up I-75 to Lexington, went west to Louisville and then north to Lafayette Indiana. Over 500 miles was enough for one ...

We left West Lafayette at around 12:30 pm. The drive to the Mammoth Cave National Park was fairly smooth, without any ...

I stayed behind in the morning while they went out with Tammy. I managed to get caught up on dishes, cleaned out the coffee maker, and focused on writing the rest of the time. The clowns hit up a number of stores in the area and then stopped back at the RV for a quick break before doing a show at the library where we were parked. Oh yeah, we were close enough to the library to pick up their unsecured wi-fi signal PERFECTLY so I was happy. Wish we could have spent the whole day ...
