    Glad to be staying at a hotel. It is so hot out here. It is 95 degrees but feels like 103. Yow! We were going to camp at a place with a water park but it is to hot. I was glad to here we were going to stay at a hotel. We went to visit Bret Favre's home town. Small. The town was called Kiln. We went out to eat at a sea food joint. Mmmmm yummy yummy. Awesome crawfish pie and very spicy. Tomorrow we are going to NEW ORLEANS!!! Yay. Please keep checking in. See ...

    ... I thought.) after all. It was a semi-tractor trailer broken down right in the very center of the left lane. Ugggh!

    Once past the roadblock the "fun" began. Ben took the lead because his GPS was protected from the rain and I had put mine in my waterproof saddlebag. The rain was heavy for several miles and I kept thinking (hoping) we would pop out of it and we'd have sunny skies for the rest of the day. Wrong again.

    ... 8217;s Club parking lot. There was plenty of room and they had a fuel facility where we were able to fill up with diesel once again. Only $2.46 here as opposed to the $2.89-$2.99 the other stations around here are charging. Also, the prices in Florida are going to be higher yet.

    So, we are preparing to hunker down here for the night and hit the road tomorrow for the rest of the trip to Florida. An even shorter day tomorrow at just under 90 miles. Talk to you ...

    We have made arrangements for someone to have a look at it after the wedding.

    It is also Tornado Season, and our first night in Louisiana we stayed just east of Lafayette. Watching the news that night we were informed that there was a Tornado Watch for the area. Thankfully nothing eventuated.
