Glad to be staying at a hotel. It is so hot out here. It is 95 degrees but feels like 103. Yow! We were going to camp at a place with a water park but it is to hot. I was glad to here we were going to stay at a hotel. We went to visit Bret Favre's home town. Small. The town was called Kiln. We went out to eat at a sea food joint. Mmmmm yummy yummy. Once past the roadblock the "fun" began. Ben took the lead because his GPS was protected from the rain and I had put mine in my waterproof saddlebag. It is also Tornado Season, and our first night in Louisiana we stayed just east of Lafayette. Watching the news that night we were informed that there was a Tornado Watch for the area. Thankfully nothing eventuated.
