As we traveled through the city we noticed the astounding architecture that had been built. Most of it was very modern, comtemporary work because of the war destruction in the Glasgow area. We took a look at the famous art school and imagined for a second what it would be like to work in their studios.

Roundabouts and One-way-streets?? riiight.

... actual city of Glasgow yet. It looks unreal beautiful though. Big city but with a real calmness to it...not the usual hustle and bustle of other big cities. We are getting up early and going to catch some city sights tomorrow. ALso, I almost died when the car rental gentleman gave us a free upgrade to a shining black Mercedes Benz buggy to cannonball around with...full coverage so if any crazy Scottish men run us off the roads, we are covered full tilt!

Lunch @ Troon Harbour

... of LA style mansions on the way into Troon... I think this is Scotland's celeb coast.

We went for lunch at Scotts Restaurant/Bar at the Troon harbour, which was buzzing with a yacht festival. It was a lovely place, and the food was awesome too... amazing cheesecake :D

That's it for Troon... I did see Arran off the coast though, definitely want to go there at somepoint.

Where the Sunshine Mocks Me

... so i have a card with no pin and no way to know how much money is in the account. the other thing i had to do was go to an atm to take money out of my home account and then go back into the bank so that i could deposit money in. so if you are planning to come to the uk and want to open a bank account, do go with one of the companies back home that will open one for you before you leave, it really is worth it! i have had a pretty lazy week because i have been sick and have decided ...

Greetings from Scotland

... by this stage for a beer so we headed to the pub and had our first TRADITIONAL HAGGIS finally!! We had one more night in Scotland which went by very quickly and before we knew it we were on our way to Glasgow airport making a few stops on the way. Scotland was fantastic recommend anyone to go there if they can providing you like a bit of a drive through rain hail and shine! We loved Ireland but it doesn't compare to the history and the scenery of Scotland! Ack!!

What is it with these Islanders?

... and quickness; you have to move well enough to get clean and not get burned to death. It's tough. Oh yeah, and we combo-pooed and plugged up our private toilet at the hostel (which is huge and amazing...the hostel, not the toilet or the plug). So we left. Running. I hope it clears itself up. Oh yeah, we've since moved from Edinburgh to Glascow, a short train ride away, but miles away from the pristine beauty of Edinbugh. A little more industrialized perhaps ...
