We were allowed a slight sleep in this morning and used the extra hour
to go for a walk around Exeter Cathedral which is just behind the hotel.

We pay the bill and take our leave and put the postcode for the River Cottage Canteen in Bristol into the satnav. It's a couple of hours travel and we once more hurtle along the motor way. We reach the Canteen, park and easily get a table as it's not yet noon. It's a beautiful old building with plenty of seats. The school holidays are over so we didn't need to book a table. ...

... its population and economic status. But the medical centre staff are really helpful and we have an appointment with a nurse practitioner for later that morning, so we go wandering until the appointment time. Pete gets his ear syringed but with little success and the doctor who also looks at him recommends olive oil twice a day and a visit to our doctor when we return to Oz. We buy the requisite dropper and olive oil and decide to go to Bratton Clovelly and check out the ...
