... the refugees. I overheard one lady say it's going to cost them an extra $1200 to fly where they were going. Glad we don't have to go anywhere near the station. We are well and truly in to Austra now and the scenery us just beautiful. Going to have to do a lot of culling of my photos. Loving the houses. Must get ready to stuff my face again. ... amazing. Salzberg was very busy, we walked into the old town with the guide Antonia from Spain showing us around Austria. But different!! Nice guy tho. Nearly deafened yes on the way home with Mozart and the Sound of Music CDs. Was happy to. get back. It's 11pm and have just come in from the floor show, an Aussie guy who lives in Austria. Today we were headed towards Nuremberg but it was too early to stop and also today it was decided that we would pick Anton and Jane up in Dubrovnik in Croatia on the 10 August which gives us nine days to get there. Arrived at Linz today which is the third largest city in Austria. Population 200,000, and is home Austria's largest steel company. From here we travel in the historic Majestic Emperor train to Salsberg. The train is very ornate and gives you an idea of what it was like to travel in style so many years ago. ... to watch as they all left kinda unfufilled because there was heaps of people there to put the fire out and they had hauled themself to stop the fire but it was a false alarm. The police came as well to give the neighbours a fine. We had a delicious dinner and went to bed.
