Today we have moved to Patong Merlin, another Merlin Resort right in the main town.
We had to catch a taxi bus to this resort. When we got there it was amazing.
First of all we were early so we went for a swim in the pool for about 1 and a half hours just

As soon as we finished settling in we went out for dinner. I had a beef burger with ...

... the usual unorganised chaos of everyone grabbing for their piled up backpacks and cases when getting off the boat haha) and we were sent to our minibus driver whilst we waited for everyone to get off the boat. We were dropped off at our guest house and were greeted with a really friendly guy who checked us in! He showed us to our room and we were very pleasantly surprised, it really spacious and modern even though it's ...

Chaya had been one for a short time and was still friendly with the nuns and helped out regularly. Drove up to a lookout where monkeys were being fed right at your feet. had to visit the "happy room" awesome view!!! It was quite a hazy day so pics not real good. Then Chaya drove us down to ...

          Day 5 - 24/3/2014 - Thailand - the last 2 travellers arrive
The days starts slowly with a relaxed breakfast, both Genelle and Mark look a little more relaxed after what I assume was a good sleep. Some stories come to light about the flight, the plane was pretty full, people being sick and screaming babies etc etc, I think I took the right option coming early and Mark did well dealing with his mother. But she must have behaved otherwise she'd still ...

... through the streets to drop the other patrons off. We at least got to see Patong Beach and the best way to describe it is like a beachy vegas. So many clubs, massage parlours, parties etc. Rather glad we are staying at a quieter beach down south called Kata Beach. We then headed to our place and had already given the driver our address. He drove down the right road but I soon realised he must have passed it. It is only meant to be 9 minute walk to ...
