    ... open for the remaining 20 minutes, I tried to talk to him so he would not fall asleep, arrived at the "Smart Hotel" in one piece, the staff were lovely, the manager greeted me, sat down and we chatted away and then the reception staff walked me through the city map with recommendations for what to do while I was there. Dropped my bags and off I went to catch sunset at Mandalay Hill.....Now the Muay Thai is over and the next stage of my travelling begins!

    ... part of limestone formation that had eroded over time and had been separated from the island. The landscape throughout the trip was beautiful, almost too good to be true! One of the guys canoeing us found a little crab and I held it. Im getting braver with sea creatures everyday, until they run up my arm and scare me so I shook it off!     ... And to top that, it is raining. Rain at home is nothing compared to here. You get soaked instantly.. We did eventually manage to find a cab that would take us to the right hotel for almost nothing, as we were flat broke at the time too.. (This was surprisingly challenging at the time) and settled down nicely in our luxurious hotelroom. This whole trip took about 21 hours. Tip, flying is easier! And not even that expensive if you weigh in ...
