Yesterday we did basically nothing but relax all day and then walk to a nearby restaurant for dinner. A very wet and foggy morning! Not a good start as the photos show, still we walked the half hour along the lake from Obertraun to Hallstatt station. It is a lovely walk even when it is drizzling, we passed several people with dogs and bikes along this path. Once you reach the station it is a very short walk to the ferry, this is the way you get to the old town of Hallstatt. This area has been inhabited for over 7,000 years.
