Last Days in South America!!
The last days in South America! Returned to Buenos Aires from Santa Rita with our driver -- yes we now have a driver, Pepe. I was exhausted, mostly from all of the eating, but there was a bit of horse riding and swimming in the mix as well. Apparently, my nodding off to sleep scared Pepe, and he kept a watchful eye on me. Don’t Cry For Me Argentina
... br> I want to cry every time I look at a calendar. We now have less than three weeks left of school and time in Santiago before we head south to Chiloé and Patagonia. Although I am excited to get to know the South and to see my mom and aunt (of course!!!!), I also know that our next trip marks the end of my study abroad experience. Malheureusement, je suis très rapidement et brusquement coupée dans mes rêveries en touchant le sol américain. Les contrôles là-bas, ca rigole pas, même pour les passagers en transit! C'est d'abord une ...
Buenos Dias from Buenos Aires
We had another long (10 hours) bus journey to get to Buenos Aires, or BA, or Bs As as it seems to be referred to here. This time we decided to pay a bit more to get seats that fully recline into flat beds, like in business class on a plane, but I'm still too tall to fit properly, so I didn't sleep very well. Mya slept better I think, and I couldn't have slept too badly as we weren't too wiped out by the time we arrived.
We checked into our awesome 5 star hotel which we found out ...
