Chattanooga - what a great name for a place. The sole purpose of visiting this city was to have a look at the train that featured as the Chattanooga Choo Choo? Now for those who don't know, the song was made famous by one of the great bands of all time, the Glen Miller orchestra. The song was also sung by the Andrews sisters. adults got in too and it wasn't crowded at the time we were there.
Plus it was so hot everyone dried quickly. That was a fun 90 minutes
and a break in the rushing around and driving routine that is part of
every day here in USA.
Drove to Calhoun GA from there and
settled at another Walmart. Less hot today so hoping the exhaustion
from lack of sleep will help us all settle tonight.
... and fries. Lots of laughing and another great catch up, so glad
we have managed to fit in seeing so many people.
We spent the night in a sugar coma, Ben
crashed at 6pm and slept through the night and we all felt very full
and worn out. Next time I might have to get something savoury!
