Hey guys! Here's a quick recap of my Melbourne weekend! I went over to Sonia's place on Friday night and we drank some wine and went to bed relatively early given that our flight was at 6am on Sat morning. Her husband Cade was kind enough to give us a lift to the airport which saved us about $30 so that was good! Plutôt beau temps ce matin au réveil (réveil difficile: nuit blanche, du fait du décalage horaire...), nous partons nous promener en centre ville. Au programme, visite studieuse du Parlement et de la cathédrale Sainte Patrick et flânerie dans le jardin botanique, qui est immense. Melbourne est une ville très surprenante dans laquelle des architectures différentes s'entremèlent: le résultat est saisissant mais assez réussi ! Victoria is a really pretty state to visit. My cousins grew up in Ballarat so I spent lots of time over there when I was younger. If you ever visit Sovereign Hill there make sure you visit the bakery, best curry pies in the world!! Melbourne is the shopping capital of Australia I reckon.
