... s disaster strategy we let everything else go into the night and grabbed onto the awning with no way of rolling it up without help. Well, luck would have it that our neighbour was walking by and answered our calls for help. Sheila remained in charge; Kath and he followed instructions and we were able to roll it safely away. Another lesson learned: when the awning is not required roll it away or risk losing it.

Anzac Day - heute ist in ganz Ostaustralien Feiertag, besser gesagt, der Gedenktag der Schlacht von Gallipoli 1915. Ich muss zu meiner Schande gestehen, dass ich bis gestern keine Ahnung davon hatte, dass die Australier jemals in irgendwelche Weltkriegsgeschehen verwickelt waren. Hi again! I know I haven't even left the country yet, but I have begun my trip! At least, I have finished work and that's as good a start as any! ... is also quite scary, and dangerous, on the final lesson at Surf Camp, I was trying to catch a wave, but the waves were not very good, and were dumping very severly as the strong winds held them up until they could take it no more, and then just crashed straight down. Tim and i went on a last minutre christmas-present-buying dash in the morning and then wrapped it all up. Time seems to be a very strange thing in this neck of the woods, sometimes it goes really slowly, and other times it just whips.
