        ... guests. Peter and Dinah were leaving, and were collected by Deana for transfer to Budapest. Roy took me back to the hotel, with a detour to the centre of Eger, a lovely old town, to get some postcards. I took advantage of the spacious indoor pool before supper, where Roy kindly kept me company as he was waiting for his latest guest. We had a good chat about Devon and Cornwall (where Roy had been a policeman), and enjoyed a few birding ...

        ... dark grey male, which landed on some ploughed earth, giving a wonderful view. There were quite a few roe deer, but no bustards today. A couple of times we seemed to trespass into farmyards, but no one seemed to mind. We stopped for coffee in a little bar and had immensely calorific cappuccinos!         ... organ concert. So we got to enjoy a lovely concert on the 2nd largest pipe organ in Hungary. The concert was nice, and the church was beautiful! Every bit as grand and ornate as the churches in Italy. After that we enjoyed a mostly traditional Hungarian lunch at a lovely little restaurant suggested by the guidebook.         [L]Feeling a little less than at peace with Slovakia we headed further south to the Hungry Border. Our first stop in Hungry was the home of the Lipanzer horses Szilvasvarad.
