... drawn carriages or cars on display. The tack room was pretty cool. After a 10 minute stroll down a tree lined road way we came to the castle itself. It was huge. When we went into the castle we hired some audio commentary headphones which told us about the history of each room as we went through it. We went through 32 rooms in total. Day 9
After breakfast Jean attended a "Tulipmania" lecture in the lounge. She already knew a bit about "Tulipmania," but learned that there have been several tulip bubbles and panics, and the chart was amazingly similar to any stock market or real estate bubble, collapse, and panic. Very instructivbe. At any rate, she learned a lot about the tulip business from the prospective of the middleman.
