There's a tv room if you want to chill out in there.

Rooms were ok, bit of a mess. Also boiling hot. Air con had cut out.

First time in a hostel and I was very impressed, we had a private room which had a huge wet room/en suite, towels, toiletries and a very comfy bed. Very convenient location and friendly staff....

No Coffs Harbour?! Byron, Surfers and Brissie

A travel blog entry by mattchurch7 on Oct 24, 2015

I'm writing a blog, but not from Coffs Harbour?!?! The world has gone mad! After my emotional goodbyes last weekend, I left Coffs Harbour on Sunday 18th October and after a 5 hour bus journey (which you could easily drive in 3...), I arrived at my next stop, Byron Bay. First impressions were that it reminded me of Airlie Beach, a tiny town trying …

Yesterday was full of many emotions. The tears didn't stop after my post, I was pretty much a mess all day. I felt silly and irrational about it but it was just how it was. I miss my brother, I had the best time with him and then it was over. I think so many things were built upon to get to that feeling. There was a huge build up and anticipation …

Filming at Lone Pine

A travel blog entry by codie on Mar 24, 2015

We were waiting for the bus for a while, it didn’t turn up until about 9:05am, got on and enjoyed the sit down on the way.

Got to Lone Pine and met the woman that Ari had been speaking too, she explained what she wanted, which wasn't what Ari had said we'd do …

Return of the Tent

A travel blog entry by codie on Mar 25, 2015

Got up around 9am and waited until about 10:30am for Liz’s husband to drop our stuff off. We didn’t want to wait and the hostel any more so went for a wander in Brisbane, we’d just run back when he called.
Had a wander around for a while and got a few bits, then decide to get some food. Went to Hungry Jacks and just as we sat …

Free Breakfast!

A travel blog entry by codie on Mar 26, 2015

Found vouchers that we had left over from Base Central, so went there and had free breakfast! Was nice, cereal and toast.
Had a wander down the street then headed back to the hostel so that Ari could edit her video. Ended up watching some sort of crime dramas for a while, then the fresh price.

Spent a while in there then decided …
